Elizabeth Rennie
(b. 1993, Lawrence, Massachusetts)
Elizabeth (Liz) Rennie is a mixed media painter and User Experience designer based in her hometown of Lawrence, Massachusetts. Her work explores the emotional resonance of color, material, and physical space as a form of visual storytelling, often reflecting themes of memory, place, and personal history.
Liz earned her BFA in Graphic Design from Suffolk University and her MFA in Visual Arts from Lesley University. She actively exhibits throughout the Greater Boston and Merrimack Valley regions, with recent shows at Elevated Thought, the Scollay Square Gallery at Boston City Hall, and Gallery RAG. Her work has received several honors, including a Juror’s Choice Award from the Cambridge Art Association and a 3rd Place Prize at the Brookline Arts Center’s ART Off the Wall exhibition.
Deeply connected to her local community, Liz regularly participates in Lawrence’s growing arts scene, including facilitating workshops and contributing to public-facing projects.
Outside of the studio, Liz enjoys collecting vinyl/listening to DIY punk, watching films, and seeking out strong iced coffees.
